Peter was our tour guide and owner of Ukgolftours and arrived on time every day, was always helpful, was informative, took the initiative to ensure that we were well-informed and fully prepared for each of our golf rounds and dinner reservations. Fortunately for us, Peter is an expert golfer and when one of our members had to cancel his trip, leaving us as a threesome, we asked Peter if he could fill in, so could have a foursome, which he agreed to do.

He re-organized his work and family schedule that week and accommodated us every day, which made for a fantastic week of golf along the north west coast of England. As a golf instructor, he even provided us with complimentary tips, videos, pictures and playing suggestions which was above and beyond the call of duty.

His knowledge of the area, the golf courses and all of the people we came in contact with made us feel welcome and at the same time important. I highly recommend his services -- and Ukgolftours and even a playing partner to anyone who visits England. Peter is a solid, good man and the next time I plan to visit England, he will be my first phone call.

I am writing to provide feedback on Peter from my recent golf trip with Ukgolftours to the Southport, England area and how it exceeded our expectations. As background 4 of us scheduled a trip to the area some time ago. Unfortunately, one of our friends had a family situation arise and he needed to cancel last minute. Long story short, Peter stepped in and, in addition to being our host he became our fourth!!

Needless to say, Peter was a terrific partner (albeit he had to give a lot of strokes!!). He was generous with his golf advice, fun to play with and a very nice guy. As far as him being our host, he did a great job. He was always prompt, took the time to provide a few interesting diversions (ie the Cavern pub) and also had great restaurant recommendations . The 3 of us welcomed him to join us a few times and he was equally enjoyable and fun to be with.

The overall trip exceeded my expectations. The golf courses were terrific and it helped that the weather was great. However, a big part of my “exceeded expectations” assessment was the role Peter played as golf partner, and host.

I just want to share my feedback about the trip I just returned from. We flew into Edinburgh and departed from Heathrow. In between we visited Gleneagles where we spent four nights with day trips to Dumbarnie and Muirfield, three nights in Southport, two nights in Conwy, and three nights in Porthcawl. We had the good fortune of having Peter Scott as our host and owner of Ukgolftours. He was terrific start to finish. The pickup at Edinburgh and dropoff at Heathrow were seamless. Throughout the trip we were always advised as to when to be ready to depart. We were always on time for our tee times. The vehicle was comfortable and clean with soft drinks and snacks available. Peter’s driving is safe and comfortable as well. Peter’s keen knowledge of the golf business is also a big plus. We had numerous interesting discussions throughout. I hope to return for another similar trip and will request Peter again. I hope he will be available. It was a five star performance for sure. Thank you.

We had a wonderful golf trip to Southport, England during late May. Our experience was positively enhanced by the professionalism of our host Peter Scott who knows the area very well and his connections and professional approach were very much appreciated. To highlight, Peter would contact the course we were playing the next day to confirm our tee times and make arrangements for the best caddies to join our round. This professional touch made our rounds of golf much more pleasurable. In addition, Peter made great meal and restaurant recommendations that fit with our preferences.

In closing, Peter is authentic, genuine and a real star. I would highly recommend Peter to lead any tour and look forward to seeing him again soon.

Where else can you find a former Senior PGA Tour player to give personal private lessons on the range and at the short game bunker facility at St. Andrews before, during and after rounds of golf at historical golf courses? When have you heard of a host who has played in the Open Championship with Jack Nicklaus at Royal St George's more than willing to help you out at no extra cost ? We toured the finest Scotch Whiskey distillery and went to the best fish and chips restaurant in Scotland. Seats in the pole position at The Dunvegan for the best drinks and golf stories along with sunsets on the balcony of The Rusacks Hotel with an incredible meal. Breakfast every day overlooking the 18th fairway of the Old Course. The Himalayas Putting Course is ridiculously difficult and a must play. My first trip was the trip of a lifetime because it was the first, but the second was just as historic for me and my friends. Not a moment of time felt like it missed a single detail. I've spoken to lots of golf travelers and it seems there is always a little something not quite up to expectations. Not with UKgolftours.com. I just returned home from an incredible golf trip to Southwest Ireland organized by Peter Scott of UK Golf Tours, and I cannot recommend it highly enough! From start to finish, the trip was seamlessly executed, making it an unforgettable experience for our group of eight.

We played some of the best courses in the region, each one more spectacular than the last. The breathtaking views and challenging layouts of the secluded links courses truly showcased the beauty of Ireland. Our driver was an absolute gem-patient and accommodating, even with our frequent requests for "pee stops" as we traveled between courses. His good humor and friendliness added to the overall enjoyment of our journey.

Peter arranged for us to stay at the Agadhoe Heights Hotel in Killarney, which was exceptional! The accommodations were top-notch, and the hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. Killarney itself was a quintessential Irish town providing the perfect backdrop for our golf trip, with plenty of great pubs and restaurants to enjoy in the evenings.

Overall, this trip was an incredible experience, and we can't thank Peter and UK Golf Tours enough for their hard work and dedication. Every detail was handled seamlessly, which let us focus on what we came for: golf, camaraderie, and enjoying everything Ireland has to offer. Personally I left home with relatively low expectations since my golf game is pretty weak. Let me say, after 4 days of great weather and playing some fabulous courses around St Andrews, the experience was unbelievable. Fabulous. No joke. Accommodations, food and hospitality were remarkable. Our host, Peter, managed the details of our trip flawlessly. He was actually like "one of the guys" for us. He was especially helpful for me, giving me tips and assists on the range, improving my swing and giving me a more enjoyable round! Peter is also a golf coach!
